In the Eyes of a Cat

Unfinished, but In the Eyes of a Cat are the catfish,
a tree to climb, and a bird in the tree. The lamp symbolizes
"the eyes are the lamp of the soul."  I had to explain
this to my instructor, and he still marked me down
on this one, so I did not finish it in class. The lamp still
needs shadows and definition. Either that, or it
gives it an ethereal look?
