What can I say, this American Girl Barbie was a steal at eBay and she is worth somewhere around $1,000 today.  She is model #1070, and sold between 1965 and 1966.  Hair colors were Light Blonde, Ash, Yellow, Red-Titian & Brunette, with blue eyes, brown eyebrows, yellow, orange, or raspberry lips.  The lady who sold this doll to me included the outfit for free because she was a little late in sending her to me.  That was nice of her.  The outfit is worth quite a bit of money. It is "Resort Set" #963 1959 to 1962. A pristine set with accessories probably is worth around $300.00 these days.
